Super Simple Snickerdoodle Cookie Recipe

Yum. I love these cookies. With the combination of cinnamon and sugar and the fact they’re cookies — good grief Charlie Brown, who wouldn’t love them?
I apologize, but I can’t remember where I got this recipe. So if I got it from you, let me know and I’ll credit you!
Recipe:
- 1 c butter
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 3/4 c flour
- 2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Cinnamon & Sugar mixture:
- 3 TBSP sugar
- 3 tsp cinnamon
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix butter, sugar and eggs. Mix the dry ingredients and then mix the dry and wet ingredients together.
Let chill for 15 minutes.
Scoop 1 inch dough into cinnamon & sugar mix.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Let cool and then enjoy!

I made snickerdoodles in school once, but we didnt use tartar…
