While fajita mix is only $0.89 in the grocery store, I don’t like the extra additives/preservatives. So I was happy to find this recipe for homemade fajita mix.
It tastes better than what you would buy in the store! I added 1/2 tsp more cayenne pepper for a little extra heat. I put it in a plastic bag and put in the freezer (to prevent moisture).
I took 3 TBSP and marinaded it with flank steak. Delicious! I also put some of the mix with ground chicken for tacos — worked great!
