I tried this recipe and I can tell you that it is the best! Versatile...from snack to sandwich to toasted. You can even cut up the day old slices, sprinkle with olive oil and seasoning and crisp in the oven for a great snack to use with hummus. Yum!

I don't buy a lot of "gadget" type appliances, but couldn't resist buying one of these. I was hoping to be able to make a very organic, low sugar, low fat dessert that actually tasted good. Home run! And I have had so much fun trying out new variations. My personal favorite so far - banana/almond butter with chunks of dark chocolate. I stole (forgive me) a couple of packets of instant Sanka in hopes of making some coffee yogurt (with chocolate chunks, of course). And, I'm experimenting with SOY yogurt to stay away from so much dairy. Keep us posted on your suggestions.

*wistful* I've been trying to make thin mints for a few years now. I can't get it quite right... all of them are too cookie-ish and not wafery enough.

I may have to revamp that challenge.

I believe HUDSON is owned by the same person who formerly owned FELIX in Adams Morgan.....so you should already know what to expect foodwise. I definitely liked D&G Restaulounge better.....

As for M St. Bar & Grill......I have always viewed it more as a place to grab a quick drink rather than actually eat at.
This is mostly due to the fact its part of the St. Gregory.....and the fact that there are so many better restaurants nearby (i.e. Vidalia, MeiWah, West End Bistro, etc.)
