The final trio of cookies were Ruth Moulton’s (am guessing it’s Sara Moulton’s mom?) spice ball cookies.  My other two cookies were chocolate chip cookies and chocolate hazelnut biscotti

If you’re like me, you don’t read recipes too closely.  So instead of leaving out 1/2 cup of sugar for later, I used the whole 1 1/2 cup of sugar in the recipe.  I think they still tasted pretty good.

They do spread out so you should try to keep it to only 6 cookie balls per sheet.  Plus, I found they need to be baked for about 12-15 minutes. 

The cookies are quite thin, but still tasty.  I’d make them again.
