I have been a baking fool, but then again, it is the winter.  Is there anything better than smelling a homemade loaf of bread?  I don’t think so! 

I made this classic white bread in my bread machine, but decided to change it up a little by adding a 1/2 tsp of garlic powder.  Then I  added a heaping 1/2 tsp of rosemary, thyme, and oregano. 

While the loaf fell down in the middle, I did taste a bit of the bread.  Next time, I’d add 1 tsp-1  1/2 tsp of the ingredients for a bit of a stronger flavor. 

I didn’t think the exterior crust was as crispy as the other white bread, so I think I’d use this recipe instead.
