Ahh pizza.  I love it.  Is it the crust?  The endless possibilities of toppings?  The cheese string from when you grab a slice?  I think it’s a combination of all of it.

I had just purchased a pizza stone from Crate and Barrel and I was excited to try it out.  Using this recipe for the crust, I made a pizza with a little pizza sauce, garlic powder, mozzeralla, black olives, and mushrooms.

While it the crust had a decent flavor, it was a little too thick on the sides for my taste.  I realize that had I taken a few extra minutes to roll the dough, the crust would have been the right thickness level.  Where I did take the time, it was a great, crispy crust!

Also, to prevent the dough from sticking on the stone, I sprinkled corn meal.
