Indian Food Made Easy is a  six-part 30 minute series and I’m in love with it.  The reason is because, like the host, Anjum Anand, says in the intro to the show, I love Indian but always think it’s a time commitment to make the food.  Instead, she offers simple and healthy ways to make Indian in your home.  She’s much more well-known as an author and chef who grew up in the UK.

Anyway, while her Web site does offer a few recipes, you could always write the recipes as she tells them from the show.  She also is a reporter for the Times Online (UK) and posts lots of recipes.

Some of the ingredients may not always be readily available (such as chaat masala) in your local grocery store, she will offer substitutions (or tell you they’re optional). 

I think I’m going to have to try to make the paneer soon…yum!
