My guilt over neglecting my bread machine continues, so I decided to try to make a Portuguese Sweet Bread. Oh my God was this amazing.
I ran to the store to pick up a new jar of yeast, so this thing was rising like crazy. It had a subtle, sweet flavor that wasn’t overpowering, but was just enough. The exterior was crusty while the inside was so soft.
The photo doesn’t do it justice, I wish you could taste it! You’ll have to make it sometime.
I’m going to definitely make it again!
