Sometimes, Web sites and their photos do not jive. I promise you that the photos on this blog are all ones that I have taken and most importantly, I have made all the food that are in those recipe photos.
I say this because the photo for this low fat poppy seed cake and this recipe do not make sense. It says to put the batter into a bundt cake — unless it’s a super small bundt cake pan, forget it.
I put the dough into my 8×8 pan and it was perfect. But I didn’t love the cake. Not because it was spongy, but it just lacked flavor. Oh well.
